Privacy policy
The Upset Report is a free college football site. You don’t need an account to use it. This page explains what information is collected when you visit and how it is used.
What we collect
- Contact form. If you send a message, we keep your name, email and message so we can reply. We don’t sell it or add you to a mailing list.
- What-if picks. Picks on the What if page are saved only in your own browser (local storage). They never reach our servers.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and secure the site.
- Visit counts. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read, what country they visit from and what kind of device they use. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you across sites.
Advertising and cookies
This site is supported by ads, which may be served by Google and other third-party vendors. These vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used.
Where data is stored
Contact messages are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Pages are hosted by Vercel. Both process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Your choices
You can clear your what-if picks by clearing your browser’s site data. To ask us to delete a message you sent or anything else we hold about you, use the contact page.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
